Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Mr SS Applications (“we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information in connection with the Chess Kingdom mobile application (the “App”). We respect your privacy and have designed the App to work entirely on your device.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, phone number, location, or contacts. The App has no login or registration and does not include third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.

2. Information Stored on Your Device

To make the game enjoyable, the App saves a small amount of data locally on your device only:

• Game preferences — difficulty level, board theme, and toggles for move highlights, coordinates, haptics, and sound.

This data never leaves your device through the App and is removed when you uninstall the App or clear its data.

3. Device Backup

If you enable Android’s system backup, your local game settings may be backed up to your own Google account as part of Android’s standard Auto Backup feature. This is controlled entirely by you and your device settings, and is governed by Google’s privacy policy — not by us. We never receive or access this backup.

4. Permissions

The App requests the following Android permissions:

• Vibrate — to provide haptic feedback when you make moves or captures.
• Internet & Network State — declared for potential future features (such as optional online play). The current version does not transmit your data.
• Wake Lock — optional, to help keep the screen responsive during gameplay.

5. Children’s Privacy

Chess Kingdom is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect any information from children. Because we do not collect personal data from anyone, no special data-handling occurs for children.

6. Third-Party Services

The App does not integrate third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking services. If you use the in-app “Send Email” or “Share” options, your device’s email or sharing app will open; any information you then choose to send is handled by that app under its own privacy policy.

7. Data Security

Because game data stays on your device, your information benefits from your device’s own security protections. We encourage you to keep your device software up to date and secured with a screen lock.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Significant changes will be reflected in an updated version of the App. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
